West Sussex Infrastructure Alliance

The organisations previously known to you as ‘CVS’ or Councils for Voluntary Services provide support and development services (infrastructure) to voluntary and community groups across West Sussex. Between us, we support around 1,500 voluntary / community organisations and encourage and support volunteering and volunteers who all contribute to a thriving voluntary community sector in the County.

A Vision for the Future:

As part of our commitment to partnership working and sharing best practice, we have been meeting regularly as the ‘CVS Network’ since 2008 and have worked together collaboratively on a project basis. We have now agreed that it will be both productive and beneficial for us and our membership to create a more formal structure to support our future shared working.

We have formed the West Sussex Voluntary and Community Sector Infrastructure Alliance (WSVCSI) or ‘the Alliance’ as we hope it will become more widely known. The Alliance has become operational on 1 April 2019.
