Our small groups network brings together community groups from across Brighton and Hove so you can get the help and support you need to run your group.
The network meets regularly in different neighbourhoods across the city; our framework document sets out in more detail the purpose of the network and how it runs.
If you are involved in a community group that delivers activities in your community, it is the place to come and meet other groups doing similar things, reflect on your challenges in running your group and support each other to move forward.
“We were reminded how we are all in the ‘same boat’. We have lots of common issues and with talking about these we learnt more and went away with lots of different ideas about the future development of our group.”
We have previously held meetings on 28 Sept 2017 and 8 February 2018, click on the dates to download the notes.
The next meeting will be confirmed shortly.
About the network
The network is for community groups with an income of under £35,000 a year.
We particularly welcome groups run by and for those supporting: LGBT people, BAME people, disabled people, people of faith, children and young people and those at chronic risk of exclusion.
The network is led by us and supported by the Resource Centre, the Trust for Developing Communities and the Hangleton and Knoll Project.
