Trustee Roles and Responsibilities Training, Tues 21 June and Tues 1 November 2022

Whether you are new to your trustee role or looking for a refresher, join us and fellow trustees from across our areas to improve your knowledge around being a trustee and what good governance looks like. The session will cover the basics you need to know, plus some of the usual challenges and myths, and top tips for being an effective trustee.

When you register, there is the option to send us any particular questions/concerns or areas you specifically want the trainer to focus on during the session. Along with the programme, we will send you some questions to think about in advance.

By the end of the session, participants will have:

  • an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of trustees
  • considered how you can make an effective contribution to your organisation’s governance
  • identified further areas for development in your governance role

We are running the same session twice – the first in-person at the Shoreham Centre and the second online. Please book on whichever one suits you best.
