The Sunflower Group provides support and information to parent/carers of children and young people with disabilities and/or special needs from Moulsecoomb, Bevendean and neighbouring areas of Brighton. Originally set up by Amaze and TDC now independent.
Superstar Arts is a registered charity that provides creative projects for people with learning disabilities in Worthing. Our projects are designed to positively promote participants in the local and wider community.
Surdi is here to ensure better support is provided to Deaf, Deafened, Deafblind and those Hard of Hearing. It is important the deaf community have equal access and empowerment to protect their culture and rights.
Survivors’ Network is a specialist organisation providing friendly support and professional help for survivors of sexual violence and abuse of all ages and genders. We believe that with the right support people can and do heal from their experiences and lead full and fulfilling lives. We understand that the effects of any form of sexual trauma can be profound and long lasting and that it takes courage to ask for help.
Sussex Clubs for Young People (SCYP) is a leading provider and infrastructure support of vibrant, inclusive, universal, and empowering youth clubs and activities across East and West Sussex, Brighton, and Hove. Our activities for young people include sports tournaments, a range of workshops, young leaders' training and activity camps. We train youth workers and volunteers with accredited programmes as well as supplying youth workers for your youth clubs. With detached youth work teams across the county we are able to combat anti-social behaviour and support communities in engaging young people.
We aim to create a cohousing community designed for a nourishing and sustainable lifestyle. It would be made up of about 20-30 households, with shared resources and shared responsibilities for managing our community.
SCF raises funds for local charities and community groups across Sussex and Brighton & Hove. Since 2006, we've given grants totalling over £4.25 million to 1,900 local charities and community groups.
SEDS advocates for people symptomatic of Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders and the associated symptoms and conditions. We also provide funding for positive EDS HSD active therapies, hobbies and activities.
