There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.
Six therapeutic singing groups per week. Five are for older people in general, and anybody any age with long-term health problems (e.g. breathing difficulties, Parkinson’s, Depression, Alzheimer’s, MS, Stroke, Heart conditions, Cancer, mental health problems etc.) A sixth weekly group is for those with mental health issues.

Improving mental health and reducing health inequalities by providing NICE recommended Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) 10 week courses and drop in meditations at our Community Care Centre at 3, Boundary Rd Hove BN3 4EH (near Kingsway coast Rd) We are seeking a contract with the Clinical Commissioning Group of the NHS and Council so that local GPs can refer their depressed patients to us. We are campaigning for this model to be commissioned throughout the city and beyond.
Social Enterprise Theatre exists to challenge negative perceptions within society via Drama performances. All actors would have had some experience of the issues we are tackling on stage such as Mental Wellbeing.
The primary aim of Soteria Brighton is the establishment of a Soteria house in Brighton, to provide non-medical treatment for 'psychosis'. We are also looking at developing community support service once the house is established.
