Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 560+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.
You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group. This directory can be updated, so if you spot any errors, get in touch with us on info@bhcommunityworks.org.uk or 01273 234023, and we’ll do our best to update it.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.
1st Northbrook Rainbows and Brownies
For girls aged 5-7 and 7-10 in the Durrington area. We work on learning new skills to earn badges and awards. We also have residential opportunities as well as one day events and work with other local units.
2nd Worthing Scout Group
We are the 2nd Worthing Scout Group based in West Worthing catering for children from 6 years old to 14 years old. We have a purpose built HQ. Each of the Beaver, Cub and Scout sections all work on the progressive training model.
4 Cancer Group
We provide a wide range of respite opportunities for families affected by cancer. We give families living by cancer something to look forward to and the chance to spend quality time together whilst providing valuable memories
4Sight Vision Support
Making a positive difference for people living with sight loss across West Sussex since 1921. Providing services, support & information, to promote independence & inclusion.
7 Ages CIC
We are working to replace loneliness with community and purpose by providing workshops, talks and meetings. We aim to empower people in the late afternoon of life to take action in their sector of the community.
A Band of Brothers
A band of brothers is a charity established by men committed to positive social change through personal development and community building. We mentor and support young men to make the difficult transition to mature adulthood through Rites of Passage based development work.
Abbeyfield Ferring Society
We are a not for profit society who provides support and care to the elderly with a range of services including, support at home, assisted living, residential care home and dementia day services.
