Member Directory

Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 550+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.

You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group. This directory can be updated, so if you spot any errors, get in touch with us on info@bhcommunityworks.org.uk or 01273 234023, and we’ll do our best to update it.

If you’re a member you can check or change the details we hold on your organisation.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.

 

Patcham CAT

We are a community action team = Patcham CAT supported by both Sussex Police and Brighton & Hove City Council.

We support local residents on a wide range of issues but with major focus on helping the vulnerable and elderly.

Patcham Memorial Hall

Patcham Memorial Hall provides a community hall for the residents and community groups in Patcham such as the U3A, WI it also hosts many dance clubs such as Scottish & French in addition to other dance and fitness groups.

Patched

PATCHED offers support and services for the families, friends and carers of adult substance misusers through: free phone helpline; advice and information; carer needs assessment; one to one counselling; support groups; outreach support; and training and courses.

Pathways to Health

A community health project offering an affordable, open access Ear Acupuncture service for people with stress, anxiety and depression, drug and alcohol dependency, mental health issues and Hepatitis C and HIV infection.

Pathways to Independence UK CIC

Pathways to Independence is a supported housing project for 16-25 year old vulnerable young adults, working with care leavers, asylum seekers, young mothers, offenders, substance misusers and those with mental health issues.

Pavilions

Pavilions is the adult community Drug & Alcohol Service for Brighton & Hove. It is available to anyone concerned about their drug or alcohol use, or for the families & carers supporting those struggling with substance misuse.

Peer Action

The provision of service to those affected by HIV and associated conditions to combat the effects of social isolation and social exclusion, this includes therapy events, Yoga, swimming, networking and educational events.

Pegasus Puppetry and Arts

Work with Sanctuary Schools in support of and celebrating the contribution of refugee families to Brighton.rnTherapeutic puppetry activities for adults with early onset dementia at Downlands Court, Patching Lodge and Brooke Mead Residential Homes rn
