Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 550+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.

You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group. This directory can be updated, so if you spot any errors, get in touch with us on or 01273 234023, and we’ll do our best to update it.

If you’re a member you can check or change the details we hold on your organisation.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.


BABIES: Birth And Baby Information, Education, Support CIC

Babies is a social enterprise that runs antenatal classes for first time parents, using all profits made to reinvest in community projects to offer free classes in Sussex (starting in Brighton). Our social goals include: to reduce babies dying of cot death; to increase women exclusively breastfeeding for longer; to reduce the impact and onset of post natal depression; to reduce the number of babies being hospitalised by gastroenteritis and more.

BD4U - Eastern Promise

Belly dancing group for all (16+) based in Whitehawk area. Available for performances at community events. Have meetings, workshops and put on annual show. Open to all Brighton and Hove.

Belltree Music Therapy CIC

We are a music therapy and arts in health service, providing support for people of all ages and abilities in response to mental or physical illness, or disability. It is often chosen when verbal therapies are not able to meet a person's needs.

Benfield Wildlife and Conservation Group

We are a 'Friends Of' group. Benfield Local Nature Reserve.

Bevendean Community Garden

We run a community garden by and for local residents. We use sustainable methods to grow as much food as we can.

Bevendean Local Action Team

The Bevendean Local Action Team empowers local residents to reduce anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime, in order to enhance local community safety and wellbeing.


At B.H.O.S. our mission is to produce quality productions that build on our history whist contributing to the community.

Bike Train Project

We run group cycle rides, creating a friendly, hi-visibility, safety-in-numbers space on busy roads to enable more people to travel by bike. We organise rides from central Brighton to various local events including: Apple Day at Stanmer Park in September & Lewes Bonfire festivities in Novemeber.
