Health and Well Being Network 16 November 2017
Social prescribing aims to deliver benefits for individuals and communities, and efficiencies for the healthcare system.
At this sessions we had presentations from two different social prescribing projects:
- Mel Pickett from Impetus will share insights from their experience of running a social prescribing project in Brighton and Hove
- Tom Visconti and James Hardy the Going Local community referrers, shared their experiences of social prescribing in Adur and Worthing
We also heard about the Adur and Worthing Service Directory which aims to facilitate referrals from frontline workers to service providers across Adur and Worthing. James will present on how to get your organisation included, and also how to access as front line workers.
