FREE training session: Re-opening Services Safely during Covid-19 12 August 2021

Due to the success of the previous sessions on this topic we are delighted to be able to repeat it, free of charge, to support you in re-opening your services safely during Covid-19. The sessions are being delivered by Hybred Consulting, and are funded by Brighton and Hove City Council.

The initial part of the session is a presentation covering:

COVID-19 – epidemiology, transmission paths, vulnerable people, impact on public health/society, risks etc.

Legislation and Guidance – Dates, milestones and relevant control measures contained in government’s roadmap including relevant definitions and examples where relevant and responsibilities in relation to staff, volunteers and service users.

Covid Risk Assessments – Practical tailored guidance sufficient to enable the businesses to identify relevant risks, document and implement relevant control measures and produce a compliant risk assessment.

Practical issues – Issues to consider in providing a safe workplace e.g. PPE, ventilation and air conditioning, staff testing programmes, dealing with difficult customers, social distancing, signage. handwashing, cleaning and workplace hygiene including types of cleaning, frequency and training for staff.

This will be followed by a Q&A session and the opportunity for you to share experiences and/or challenges with each other
