Hours: 22.5 hours per week (0.6WTE)
May involve some evening or weekend working

Actual Salary: £27,451 pro rata (£45,753 WTE).
Post: NHS A4C Band 8 Equivalent
Annual Leave: 16.8 days per year pro rata (28 days/year WTE)

The VCSE (Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise) sector is a vital cornerstone of a progressive health and care system. As the Sussex Health and Care Partnership moves through a journey of transformation over the next few months to a legal body, it is essential that the VCSE across Sussex are involved as a key partner in these changes.

We are looking for a forward thinking, innovative individual who is used to working at a strategic level across a range of partners, to drive and shape VCSE leadership within Sussex Health and Care Partnership (SHCP).

This is a key strategic role for both the VCSE across Sussex and the SHCP and recognises the importance of the VCSE as a partner in the development of SHCP and at Place (West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton & Hove).

We are seeking a motivated and forward thinking individual to support ongoing development and embedding of VCSE leadership at system (Sussex)  and place levels in line with the NHS England ICS Design Framework (June 2021); they will also play a key role in supporting existing VCSE partnership structures across Sussex to work with SHCP as it continues the journey towards becoming a legal body.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working and influencing at a strategic level, working or networking with Health and Social Care Commissioners, and developing and leading complex partnerships with voluntary and community sector partners.

The post require remote working with the ability to travel across Sussex, with some requirement to work in CW or SHCP offices as necessary.
