Community health fund

The Brighton and Hove Community Health Fund is a fund for small groups.

It aims to support and fund small groups with an annual income below £35,000, which are based in Brighton or Hove and want to address a particular health issue or run a health-related activity.

The fund works with groups who are just getting started and those working in under-represented communities, particularly: LGBT groups, those working with young people, older people or undertaking inter-generational activities.

The fund provides:

  • one-to-one support to help your group set up, and to make an application
  • a grant of up to £1,500
  • the chance to meet other groups similar to yours

Information sessions

Our information sessions are a chance to hear more about the aims of the fund, the criteria and guidelines for applying and to look at the application form. You will also be able to ask questions and hear from other groups in the room.

We currently have no information sessions planned.
