Member Directory

Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 550+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.

You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group.

If you’re a member you can check or change the details we hold on your organisation.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.

 

Stay Up Late

Stay up Late is a registered charity which promotes full and active social lives for people with learning disabilities. We do this through advocacy, training, influencing decision makers, and providing opportunities. We also run the Gig Buddies volunteer befriending project across Brighton and Hove and East and West Sussex.

Still Human UK

Advocacy, support and advice for people/persons with long term illnesses, disabilities and who are vulnerable in society.

Stopover Housing and Support for Young Women

Provides safe, temporary accommodation with support for vulnerable young women aged 16-21 who are homeless or insecurely housed. Also teenage parent connections P.A. Support.

Street Outreach Service

Provides an HIV and sexual health outreach service to gay and bisexual men, male and female sex workers, the homeless and insecurely housed, and IV drug users across Brighton and Hove.

Strike a Light Community Arts and Heritage

Strike A Light is a not for profit community arts organisation led by Nicola Benge, a committed, experienced community artist and reminiscence facilitator. We use people's life stories and memories and make art to transform public and private spaces.

STRIVE

STRIVE (Socialising Together Regularly Inspiring Volunteering & Enjoyment) is a support group for individuals who have long term chronic health conditions.

The group is for people within the Worthing/Adur community who are struggling to cope with their symptoms and are quite socially isolated. We aim to have different topics to support a general improvement in physical and mental wellbeing every fortnight with a “drop-in support service” every other Tuesday 11am – 1pm.

Sudanese and Arabic Speaking Elderly Association

Helps the Sudanese community (over 50) irrespective of racial, religious, political and cultural differences. Our aim is to relieve need, hardship and distress. We organise meetings and outings, and meet twice a month at Oasis Christian Fellowship Hall to promote our members' lives by social and relational contact.

Sudanese Community in Sussex

Promotes the benefit of the inhabitants and primarily the Sudanese inhabitants in Sussex. Advances the education of the said inhabitants.
