Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 550+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.

You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.

 

Social Enterprise Complementary Therapy Company KEEP

Improving mental health and reducing health inequalities by providing NICE recommended Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) 10 week courses and drop in meditations at our Community Care Centre at 3, Boundary Rd Hove BN3 4EH (near Kingsway coast Rd) We are seeking a contract with the Clinical Commissioning Group of the NHS and Council so that local GPs can refer their depressed patients to us. We are campaigning for this model to be commissioned throughout the city and beyond.

Social Enterprise Theatre

Social Enterprise Theatre exists to challenge negative perceptions within society via Drama performances. All actors would have had some experience of the issues we are tackling on stage such as Mental Wellbeing.

Soteria Brighton

The primary aim of Soteria Brighton is the establishment of a Soteria house in Brighton, to provide non-medical treatment for 'psychosis'. We are also looking at developing community support service once the house is established.

Sound Tennis Sussex

We are developing Sound Tennis, an adapted sport for blind and partially sighted people

South East Forum for Sustainability

SEFS is the environmental network for the South East and aims to ensure the environment and sustainable development are at the heart of regional policy.

Southdown Housing Association

Provides accommodation, housing-related support and specialised services in Sussex. Among those supported are people with mental health problems, people with learning or physical disabilities and those who are or have been homeless.

Space Mates

Encouraging Change in Your Life, through adding a voice and providing a space to make changes.

Special Branch Tree Nursery

We raise native trees and hedgerow shrubs from seeds and cuttings collected in Sussex downland and Wealden sites. Volunteers welcome, Fridays throughout the year. For details on volunteering or trees, please see our website.
