Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 550+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.

You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group.

If you’re a member you can check or change the details we hold on your organisation.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.

 

Serendipity Enterprising Solutions CIC

Provides project support, community development and engagement, advice, guidance, monitoring and evaluation, consultancy and mentoring, training and coaching, and problem solving skills to community and voluntary groups and small enterprises.

Seven Ways

Supported semi-independent flats for care leavers and young people / parents in the Brighton area. Social work support and guidance. Outreach support for young people in the community.

Sew Fabulous CIC

Sewing can be a rewarding and enjoyable pastime for adults and children alike.
It is also an incredibly valuable core life skill. From making and mending your own clothes all the way through to offering future employment opportunities and careers, learning a useful craft and skill is an empowering, therapeutic and a socially cohesive experience.
The Sew Fabulous vision is to provide accessible, fun and useful learning to all regardless of financial position or social status. We also aim to offer an antidote to the throw away culture, encouraging reuse and recycling of materials.
All profits from workshops will go towards subsidising these aims.

Sibling Link

We are a peer support group for adults who have a brother or sister living with mental ill health. We will provide a safe space to share experiences, emotional support and advice in order to look after your own wellbeing and to support your sibling.

Sierra Leone Brighton Association

Provides social and support network for people from Sierra Leone living in Brighton and Hove, and East and West Sussex. Organises regular social and cultural activities. Organises activities for families, single parents and children. Providing welfare support and advice.

Silver Sounds

Silver Sounds is an older people's samba band. We specialise in the rhythms of Brazil and South America. We practice weekly and perform at community events. We want to show what older people can do and not concentrate on what we can't do.

Sing for Better Health

Six therapeutic singing groups per week. Five are for older people in general, and anybody any age with long-term health problems (e.g. breathing difficulties, Parkinson’s, Depression, Altzheimer’s, MS, Stroke, Heart conditions, Cancer, mental health problems etc.) A sixth weekly group is for those with mental health issues.

Wednesdays 11 till 12.30 Preston Park Ave (Mental Health group)

Saturdays 11.30 to 1 Brighton Centre (Brunswick Surgery/ Health & Wellbeing Centre)

Single Parent Information Network (SPIN)

Information and signposting for single parents (men and women with sole and shared care of their children) by single parents. Facebook group for members to talk online and arrange meetups. Members sent regular emails about events, free tickets, opportunities, training, children's activities. Free Family law solicitor advice.
