Brighton Peace and Environment Centre is a community in Brighton and Hove helping create a just, peaceful and sustainable world. We inspire, educate and connect people, communities and organisations to understand how their own lives and actions link with those of others, and find ways to create a more just, peaceful and sustainable world We do this through: 1) Training teachers to put learning in a global context 2) Developing and providing global learning resources 3) Training people in: - Critical and creative thinking; - self-awareness and open-mindedness towards difference; - understanding of global issues and power relationships and; - optimism and action for a better world.
