If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer. We are all affected by cancer. We can all help. We are Macmillan.
We are a self-help group holding monthly meetings to support and inform people with central vision loss through talks and discussion. We also arrange occasional outings and social activities.
We are a weekly lunch club on a Thursday from 12 - 2pm for older people from across the city. We provide a 2 course home cooked lunch for £4 and each week we do different activities including; bingo, boccia and quizzes. We also have a weekly raffle to help us with fund raising.
We provide several day trips a year and 2 holidays. One in the summer eg. to the Isle of Wight and a turkey and tinsel break at Christmas time.
We have high numbers attend our group from all over the city and we provide transport at a small charge. Everyone who attends our group say they look forward to it, have fun and enjoy meeting new people.
Magnetic Ideals are a collective providing support including networking, consultancy, research and training, for organisations and individuals working creatively for community interest and social sustainability in Brighton and Hove.
Community and Voluntary organisation overseen by board of Trustees and Directors. We raise funds to deliver waste, recycling and sustainability-related teaching and learning activities, such as our new Community Allotment.
A support and resource service for men who have been sexually abused, sexually assaulted and/or raped. Support is also offered to partners, families and anyone affected by the sexual assault of males.
The Marlborough Theatre is a unique venue in the heart of Brighton, a beautiful miniature proscenium arch stage complete with velvet curtains. The theatre is buzzing year round with theatre, comedy, music, workshops and literature events, we specialise in the weird, wonderful and unexpected. The theatre is also available for hire.
